Thank you for considering a charitable gift to the University of Arkansas as the current year closes and a new tax year begins. Learn how you can give, check important deadlines and find key information.
Making an Online Gift via Credit Card
Any gift completed online through our secure site by midnight on Dec. 31, will qualify for the 2024 tax year.
The university will be closed December 24, 2024–January 1, 2025. If you wish to make
a gift during this time, please do so online.
Making a Gift by Check through the Mail
If you prefer to give with a check delivered by the U.S. Postal Service, your gift must be postmarked by midnight on Dec. 31, for it to qualify as a 2024 tax year gift.

Making a Gift of Publicly Traded Securities
If you'd like to make a donation of securities or mutual funds, please instruct your broker to provide the following information along with your donation:
- Your name
- Name of your brokerage firm
- Name of stock and number of shares being donated
- Name of project the gift is designated for and the fund number the stock should be credited to if known.
Your broker can electronically transfer securities from your brokerage account to the UA Foundation brokerage accounts:
To complete this transaction, please contact us to confirm your University of Arkansas gift designation, and to receive the necessary banking information. Please share with us the donor name (s), type and number of shares included in the transfer so that we can ensure that you receive a timely receipt and that your gift is used for the purpose you designate. Please send an email to Gift Administration at giftserv@uark.edu. This will ensure that your gift is processed properly.
